The only things I could find “wrong” was the silkscreen logo on the rear plate being crooked and a very small scratch on the headstock. I’ve seen worse in music stores! This was by as awesome deal for a great u-bass. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and would encourage anyone thinking about buying a “blemished” instrument to go ahead and do so!

I have been dreaming of the day that I'd get a Kala UBass for years now. When the BLEM sale notification popped up in my email I jumped at the chance to get one, and all I can say is WOW! A fantastic instrument for such a reasonable price. I own 8 ukuleles, but my last three have all been Kala ukuleles because, since my first Kala (an acacia baritone uke), I have been so impressed with the sound and the quality of the Kala ukuleles that I will only get Kala ukuleles from now on. I really like this UBass. Both of my shoulders need to be replaced so I was unable to hold on to a regular bass guitar. This instrument is very light and there is enough sound that I can practice by myself without an amp. Hope to learn the bass with this instrument. Thanks

Was looking at a U-bass decided to get the Kala Nomad. Saw that there was a factory sale on the Kala website. Bought the bass there were a few minor condition issues but minor. The blemish near the bridge that was mentioned is barley noticeable. I did notice a few fret sprouts on the tenth fret and a few more beyond the 12th fret on the side where the fret markers are. Seeing how it was a BLEM it didn't really bother me plus just needed to file them down. Aside from those condition issues the U-bass sounds and feels great. Love the tone i can get with it either unplugged or plugged into an amp. this is my second Kala instrument and love playing it.
