This is my first 8-string and I LOVE it! It does take a bit of extra pressure to play the chords, but I got used to it in a day or two. It has a wonderful rich sound and is gorgeous to look at. I feel like my fingers are floating over the strings when I strum. I could not be happier with my purchase.

When I first ordered this uke I became concerned that, as an 8 string, it might be hard to play... I didn't need to worry.
Although a bit harder to play than a comparable 4 string, it is WAY easier than I imagined. I'm VERY pleased with the way it sounds and plays.
