Victoria Vox
Victoria Vox (née Victoria Davitt) is a singer/songwriter and musician who was raised in Green Bay, WI. Victoria got her start in music picking up the guitar at age 17 and a year later she enrolled at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She returned home after graduation and started a group, Tres Femmes, which saw her begin to experiment with ukulele. The uke quickly became her primary instrument and she released her first album of ukulele music in 2006. As a self-taught uke player, she brought her own influences to the traditional sound of ukulele, as well as incorporating mouth trumpet. She has been featured on film and television and performs over 100 times each year. Victoria recently signed an exclusive contract with Kala and continues to write, record, and perform all over the world.
