Can be played soft and loud. When it's loud, it roars with no distortion.

This is one of the best ukuleles I have ever used. The sound it makes is light and airy yet, pungent and cutting. The strings are nimble and light in my fingers and do not dig in like others do. Thank you for making a magnificent instrument with a gorgeous sound!
