Great looking and sounding bass
The burl pattern is pretty cool and I love the electronics in this bass! The three-range active EQ is nice so I can cut down on the string noise with the treble and boost the mids and bass to dial in the sound I want. Everyone is amazed at how much sound this puts out and how much it sounds like an upright bass! My only gripe is that the E-string had almost no volume, but I was able to find some YouTube videos on how to fix it.
Close to perfect!
I picked it up, having never played bass, and it was very easy to make some tunes. Sounds amazing. Deep and thundery, like a double bass. My only gripe is the strings it comes with stick to my fingers like crazy and I love to slide.
Go Road Toad
The tone is phenomenal. I was a little surprised at how rough the grain is at first but, being heavy burl it has exaggerated grain directions which makes it tough to plane. Yes, I recommend it. This thing is a lot of fun to play! Go Road Toad!
