I keep one of these in my trailer by the shore. It lives there year round and I have no worries about it. Each spring it’s ready to go. It has a good, almost mellow sound, holds its tuning very well and looks cool.
I mainly got this ukulele so I had something to practice on outside without worrying I was going to mess it up with Florida’s high humidity. I’ll be honest, the strings took longer to stretch out and stay in tune than my other, wooden ukulele did and the sound is a little “plastic-y”. But it’s definitely grown on me, and I’ve been having a lot of fun playing it at the beach! Also the color is great and looks awesome. :)
