It is rare to find a piece of Sapele with such detailed figuring and the high gloss finish makes it all the more unique. The deep, clear, low-end this instrument produces, combined with the outstanding craftsmanship that goes into each California U•Bass, makes this limited model a perfect fit for the musician looking to own an exceptional instrument.
This instrument is considered a blem because there is a small chip out of the top corner of the fretboard, a small scuff in the finish near the fretboard on the cutaway, and chipping/peeling finish around the string holes at the base.
String Disclaimer
All California U•BASS® are meant to be strung with proprietary, polyurethane Road Toad Strings. Kala Round Wounds, Flatwounds, and High C Strings will not work on the California Solid Body U•BASS.
