The Revelator™ Nautilus Limited Master Grade Hawaiian Mango Tenor Ukulele features all Mango construction. This wood was part of an old Kala trade show display rescued out of a storage container at Kala HQ by Mike Upton (Kala President and founder). Pete Howlett himself sliced up enough of this Mango to make 10 custom Limited Edition pieces. This Limited Master Grade model displays not only multi-color striations and unique patterns typical of the wood chosen for this series but significant figuring as well. This model also features an ebony bridge, fingerboard and headplate. Also unique to this piece is a custom headstock flower inlay of Abalone and Pearl—with Pearl Nautilus fretboard symbol and Kala headstock logo. Gold Grover tuners keep your instrument in tune. This Revelator is a true joy to play and enjoy! Each Kala Revelator ukulele is handcrafted in the Kala Lutherie Studio in Petaluma, California and comes in a padded Transit Series Gig Bag.
To ensure the health of this instrument, we recommend storing it in 40-60% humidity, away from direct sun, vents or extreme temperatures. We recommend storing it at least part time in a bag or case with an ukulele humidifier, or humidity-controlled environment. (Kala-recommended humidifier coming soon.)
