B-Stock: Blackout Port Orford Cedar Hawaiian Koa Tenor Ukulele
*For all seconds and prototypes there will be a permanent '2' stamped on the back of the headstock.
Made of Port Orford Cedar and Hawaiian Koa, this model is our “Players” model, painted black.
The Blackout Elite’s first impression is…classy. Flat Black paint framed by crisp white binding gives this Tenor Ukulele a sharp visual contrast. Even the bold, white Kala logo on the headstock “pops”. This ukulele offers everything in sound and has its own unique look.
Port Orford Cedar grows along streams in the valleys of the Klamath Mountains. It is pale in comparison to other cedars, with a fine, tight grain, making it strong and lightweight with excellent tonal qualities — a preferred wood for stringed instruments. This Port Orford Cedar Top Elite comes with Hawaiian Koa back and sides, specially combined to create a ukulele that sounds bright.
This Blackout ukulele comes equipped with Graphtech® Ratio Tuners and Kala Elite Brown Fluorocarbon Strings by Worth with Low G. This model comes comes with our sturdy, water-resistant Kala Transit Gig Bag with a plush interior and includes a D’Addario® Humidifier Pro. Preferred by professional musicians, the tenor adds a warmth and depth to the classic ukulele sound.
This ukulele is considered a blem because there is some chipping around the inside edge of the sound hole, a barely visible "v" shaped scratch under the bridge, and tiny bit of black on the binding.
