Kala KM-KBG Blem Ukulele

I decided to purchase this Koa laminate ukulele because of previous experience with my Solid Mahogany U Bass over 2 years ago. The price was extremely tempting for a Koa wood ukulele. If it had not been a Blem it would have sold for much more. I rate it 4 Stars because no where in Kala's description or tech specs does Kala mention that the instrument is a total laminated instrument. Kala needs to be upfront with advertising their instruments to maintain their reputation. However stating that, it was extremely difficult to find the "Blem." I invited an expert Ukulele and guitar player over to give the instrument a trial. We found a very small scuff on the bottom side of the Uke that was difficult to find. He ranked the playability of the instrument as excellent. The tone quality of the instrument is very sweet and warm . I am glad that I took the risk
