This All-Solid Satin Hawaiian Koa Soprano will only be offered for a limited run, while supplies last. These sopranos feature highly figured Hawaiian Koa that has light curling and figuring and colors ranging from golden blonde to auburn red and chocolate brown. We have framed the wood in black binding with black-white-black purfling and topped them off with an Ebony fretboard and headplate to tie it all together. The UV-cured, grain-filled satin gives it an incredibly smooth finish.
Koa creates a sound with a clarity, crispness, and warmth that will open up over time. The sweet tone of Koa provides a brightness that makes its midrange shine through.
This Koa soprano comes equipped with GraphTech® Ratio tuners and Kala Elite Brown Fluorocarbon Strings by Worth. Each comes in an Olive Tweed Hardcase with a plush interior and includes a D’Addario® Humidifier Pro.
