Solid Sitka Spruce Top Myrtle Super Tenor
Sitka Spruce grows in the most northwestern parts of North America in the coastal rainforests of Alaska and Canada. It is widely considered the staple of modern tonewood and has a tight, straight grain. The Spruce Top Myrtle Elite Super Tenor Ukulele is made from Solid Sitka Spruce and Solid Myrtle back and sides with a handsome satin finish. The Sitka Spruce provides the instrument with incredible clarity and improved dynamic response while the Myrtle adds sustain and additional warmth to the tone.
Our Super Tenor models come with a longer neck and have a longer body and a wider lower bout than our traditional Tenor ukulele. The longer neck has a 19” scale length and better fits the wider lower bout and longer body of the Super Tenor. The Super Tenor has a deeper and warmer sound and resonance due to its increased lower bout size.
