I just bought the Journeyman a week ago and I am really loving this bass. I've been playing and leading uke groups for about 5 years now and wanted to branch out a little during quarantine. Ukulenny recommended this bass and I am really enjoying it. Before you know it, I'll be laying down some bass lines on a capella and creating my own band!
It also looks beautiful along side my Kala black archtop. :-)

I love the ease of playing and nimbleness of the short scale. I can pick it up and play without dealing with plugging it in, which is great for quick fiddling around with a sudden groove idea. Tweaking the internal EQ and the EQ on the amp I can dial in a big warm tone or a sharp punchy one. Plug it right into my starlet for tracking to garageband. Total fun in an easy size to fit into my little music area. Love playing it so much, I just ordered a fretless scout to have more U-bass fun :-)

There is only one word to describe this Black Journeyman Mahogany Acoustic-Electric U•BASS...AWESOME!!!
I just discovered the U Bass recently and I call the factory; Will addressed all my questions and I immediately placed an order. He had it shipped the following day and I received the guitar two days later. It was set up perfect; when I plugged it in I was blown away by the deep bass and playability. Thank you Kala and Will for an incredible experience. If you are considering buying one my advice is...BUY ONE! :-)
