It's a great starter ukelele. It is sturdy. I have dropped it down the stairs a couple times with a few nicks but it's still going strong. Nice pretty loud sound. Easy to play. Two points to make here. Don't call it mahogany without mentioning that it is laminated mahogany (plywood) which muffles the rich sound somewhat.
Call it what it is.
The other thing is that the rosewood fingerboard wood is paper thin. I know this because on one of its trips down the marble stairs it chipped off and you can see how thin it is. The side of the fretboard is painted black to hide this fact. It is still a great ukelele but the description is deceiving, just saying. Here is a full review. i’ve always wanted to play a instrument that wasn’t to hard to learn. the way I got into the ukulele was when my friend had one and said that she thought I would enjoy it. so I looked it up and found the same on she had with was this one. I love it and play it every single day! I play it so much my sisters get mad because I play it so much 🤣🤣🤣
