Handcrafted in the Kala USA Workshop in Petaluma, California, the instrument’s hand-selected Claro Walnut top is paired with a solid Black Walnut body, producing a voice that is rich in the low mids. A West African Ebony fingerboard, headplate, and bridge bring clean definition to every note while Abalone fret markers and Ivoroid binding with black and maple purfling speak to the level of detail built into each surface. The Emperor Nautilus delivers a seamless neck with contoured heel for comfortable playing and an integrated Artec Passive Pickup system for players who demand stage performance. Gold Gotoh tuning machines with black buttons round out an instrument that earns its place at the top of the Revelator lineup.
