I have a Kala Wanderer Ubass and the two of the tuners stripped. I replaced one and when the second one stripped, I decided to upgrade them. These are much better quality and my ubass tunes easier and stays tuned longer than the originals.
These were a great retrofit for the toylike original tuners on my DArmond Ashbory bass. It took some woodworking skills. Not a straight swap. You need to fill the old holes, then make cardboard templates (traced from the new Kala tuners) to carefully locate the new holes for the new tuners. Then drill new holes and install! I refinished my headstock to cover up the old holes. The new tuners work great.
I needed new tuners for my damaged Uke bass. Ordering online was easy and received them in a timely manner, as described online.
