Our Vegan Ukulele EcoStrap® is proudly made from VinylTech®: a 100% synthetic laminated material, manufactured from raw materials without any animal origin. 100% free of phthalates, 100% free of hydrolysis and 100% recyclable, this sustainable material is so close to leather in look and texture, it is difficult to tell the difference!
It comes in 3 faux-leather colors: Black, Brown and Whiskey.
The strap is attached by looping under the headstock, under the strings, then buttoning closed, while the other end attaches to the strap button on the bottom. It measures at 1.6” width and is adjustable from 31” to 55” (80 cm to 140cm). It fits all: Soprano, Concert, Tenor, and Baritone ukulele, plus U•BASS®.
Most Kala ukuleles come with a strap button installed. Check the product specs to see if one is included on your ukulele. If you need a strap button installed, please have it done by a professional.

This leather look-alike strap exceeded my expectation. It's soft and pliable yet sturdy, appears very much like leather, behaves like leather, and is super comfortable. It doesn't stretch and holds its colour and shape well. The inside has soft fabric. The button is well attached. Highly recommend.

I have a Kala tenor and the strap looks great. Took me a minute at first to figure out how to get the button undone. I love this strap.

Very nice looking! Works well. The strap seems thick but it doesn't seem to interfere much with the strings as previously feared. Will buy from them again! Myself and my band, Prunus Avium, thanks Kala!

Everything I've bought from you guys so far exceeds my expectations! I bought this for my black Journeyman U-Bass and really enjoy this setup! Keep up the great Work!! I'm playing through a Fender Rumble 25 per your recommendations. Looking forward to those Uke Jams with family at the cabin this summer! My wife, son and granddaughter all play Kala Ukuleles. 5 total counting the Journeyman!
FYI: I've been playing bass for over 50 years. I'm also a retired Lead Design Supervisor so I know a little about design and quality when I see it. This should add substance to my review. GBYD

Well made, simple and I liked that you could either wrap it around headstock, or remove the loop end and attach it to a button.
