This is my first U•Bass and I decided to go fretless. I really love the big sound it produces through an amp vs. how small it is. I can’t find the blem but then again, every instrument I have has a blem, so maybe I’m desensitized. This will be great for smaller gigs where the guitar players are acoustic. Going to gigs in the city on public transit, should now be a breeze!
The Aquila Thunderblack strings can be a little sticky on the A and E strings, but I think it’s something I can adjust to by not pressing the string as hard.
I will certainly be adding another U•Bass or two to my collection!
