I was using a humongous Dean acoustic electric bass for recording and I was very disappointed in the sound and playability of it. I got a “blemished” Journeyman that had the tiniest of flaws on the back of the headstock and saved a bundle during the sale. The Journeyman is so much fun to play and sounds great in recordings. I am so thrilled and highly recommend it. Even at the regular price, I feel that it is a great value.

My name is Nick and I’m an 11 year old bass player. what I like about the black journeyman is that it is a very nice looking bass that you can take and play anywhere. The only thing I don’t like about it is that there is a lot of buzz on the first fret on the A string. Otherwise it’s an amazing bass that I would recommend to people.

I've been interested in the Kala U-Bass for some time, because I liked the idea of a small compact bass that i could easily play and take anywhere for practice and goofing around. What I had no idea about was how awesome this thing is. With the first note on it I almost couldn't believe what I was hearing! It's incredible! I've never thought about anything ukulele wise, and never considered getting anything related to a ukulele, but this U-Bass is something entirely different. It is incredible! It came with round-wound strings, which are neat and bright sounding, but I put on some flat-wound strings, which I like a more. I also like the f-hole design a lot better than the normal circular sound-hole. I really love this instrument!
