While my Kala Contour Series tenor ukulele came with a gig bag, I wanted the added security of a hard case for travel and storage. Enter the Kala HC-CHAR-T Hard Case – a perfect fit for my needs!

The case is a good value when on sale. I expected an all black case, as shown on the web site. I bought the case for my Martin 2K, which came with a slate blue gig bag. So, the color is actually perfect for my Martin. I also have a Kala tweed case, which is large enough for an 8 string. This ABS case is slightly smaller than the tweed, just right for a standard tenor, as you can see in my photos. Overall it's a good price, a solid case to protect my most expensive uke.

This Soprano case is special because it is long enough to hold a long neck soprano! See the pictures showing my KA-15SLNG long neck soprano. Its hard to find cases that will fit these awesome ukes and this one fits perfectly! And this case is super rock solid. Awesome protection!

I use these cases to keep a couple of KALA travel ukes in the back of my car so they are available to play whenever the opportunity arises. Waiting in car line, sports practice etc. They take a beating with all the sports equipment, bags, tools, luggage, backpacks etc that get thrown on them. Nevertheless they provide bullet proof protection and my ukes don't have a scratch on them! Highly recommended!
