On my Contour Mahogany Baritone I like the sound of these factory spec strings. Once set in they hold tune very well.....Nice warm sound like a Spanish guitar which is why I play a Baritone ukulele as a former guitar player.
I'm a chords only player (working on lead and solo melody work) but in group acoustic strumming with guitars and some soprano ukuleles players these strings produce a nice booming sound :)

I tend to play the uke rather hard and enthusiastically, hence my older string breaking. The new string sounds great, has held up under duress, and I suppose, while not having a doctorate in comparing and analyzing good uke strings, these have gotten the job done.
