I started playing the baritone uke in my church choir. I own the Transit and the Sonoma cases for a couple of tenor ukes but this one caught my eye for the interior compartment and the interior molding. Turns out it is perfect for my use. The photo shows the space of the interior compartment although ultimately I decided to stow my tuner, picks, capo and volume control for my passive pickup in there and I use the large exterior compartment to carry my instrument cable, wallet, glasses, keys, etc. I love that I can carry all these items around and not have anything "rattling around" with my uke. The formed foam padding is rigid and secure. I love this case!

This is the perfect case for my Kala Makala Baritone ukulele. It’s strong and lightweight, and I like the zipper better than clasps. I’m really glad I purchased this one.

I like this case for going to local affairs. It's light weight and sturdy. Also good in an overhead bin on a plane.
I wouldn't use to ship as baggage.

Fits the acoustic U-Bass just fine, w/ v. good protection. While the gig bag protects okay, the hard case's external pocket has room for a -valid- amp cable, which the gig bag (included w/ u-bass) really does not; there, the cable puts undue pressure on the bridge unless it were super-short, like 4' or so.
I'm not rating the seperate "return insurance" because I didn't need to use it. I assume it would have worked!
