I bought a Nomad U bass new and when I got it, the my long washer on the A string tuner was split and coming off. I was using the bass for a recording project and it took a while to get it…so sending it back to the retailer was less than convenient. I ordered the replacement tuner and while it works and fits, the replacement is a shiny black finish and slightly different design than the flat black ones that came on the original bass. I feel that now I need to order 3 more tuners to make it look right. The replacement was expensive and it needed to be shipped to the UK as well making it even more so expensive. I will live with what I have.

The replacement tuner for my Scout fretless bass was for the correct side of the headstock. However, the central hole, into which the end of the string is inserted to ensure a proper connection for tightening, was way too small to accommodate the diameter of the A string.
In the end, my only option was to tie a knot in the end of the string - not great!

I had a tuner peg broke on my Kala U Bass so ordered a a replacement from Kala and it had arrived quickly and was easily replaced just in time for a scheduled gig 🤙🏾 thanks Kala!
