The Hipshot tuner came as described. My one criticism - it would be really helpful for Kala to have better information available for someone doing the replacement work themselves. A video or PDF sheet one could download from your website with a step by step showing how to remove the old tuner, then how to take the new tuner apart to install on the U.Bass. Videos I found only had parts of the process.

I had to watch several YouTube videos to put it on. Would be nice if it came with detailed directions and a comprehensive list of parts with photos.
Also, the hole in the center was not big enough for the E PU string.

Thanks for your feedback! The polyurethane UBass strings aren't intended to fit in the inner hole of the tuner - but to be gently pushed to rest in the tuning machine slot.
