The Cajón is a simple box percussion instrument from Peru that can be played with hands, fingers, brushes or sticks. The Kala Cajón features a fixed snare mechanism behind the upper portion of the faceplate which mimics a snare drum-like effect for added percussive possibilities, as well as a ported sound hole for ample low-end and resonance. Spice up your ensemble with a Kala Cajón.

    Still learning about it

    It's just as shown on their site. Very pretty and sturdy. Now I'm just spending time trying to find the sweet spots to get the different effects. Having trouble getting a clear bass sound without vibration.

    Cajon is a perfect fit for me and my friends

    I love my new cajon. Anyone can play it and it adds fun for those who like to make music, but can’t play an instrument🙂
