I bought the 4 string UBass on a great sale and the 5 string set was also on sale. Since the 4 string set was not on sale I bought the 5 string set. It works perfectly.

Very impressed. Intonation is much improved to that of round wounds. Feel great to play and sound great too. Even supply and delivery was excellent.

I own a four string Kala solid body UBass which currently has a set of stainless steel flats. It has a great sound and is a blast to play but in need of new strings as they have become “dead”. Because of the diminutive size of my instrument, it requires special length strings that are both limited in supply and expensive, when found. Of course, as you know, your company usually has them readily available but what causes me consternation is why is a four pack set of strings almost $10 more than a five string set? Shouldn’t they be priced commensurate to the number of strings provided? Due to pricing, I now have a low B string that will never be used. This is why you received four stars rather than five. Thank you for your time.

There's a reason these strings sell out very often! They're absolutely wonderful. Flatwounds are just a great feel and sound. These are soo much better than the rubbery Pahoehoe strings on the acoustic UBass.
