Voting:

Finalists will be selected and announced on November 20th and a voting platform will be provided until November 30th.

Winner:

The winner will be contacted and announced on December 5th.

CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

1. ELIGIBILITY: This contest is open only to those who are 13 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of Kala Brand Music Co. and Hawaii Music Supply aka The Ukulele Site and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate in this contest.
2. AGREEMENT TO RULES: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Kala Brand Music Co. and Hawaii Music Supply as final and binding as it relates to the content of this contest. By submitting an entry to this contest, Contestant hereby releases rights to any photo submitted and understands that Kala Brand Music Co. owns the rights to the photo and can use it without any further permissions.
3. CONTEST PERIOD: Entries will be accepted online starting on October 8 and ending November 16, 11:59PM PST. Voting on finalist entries will continue until November 30, 2018, 11:59PM PST. And the winner will be contacted and announced upon completion.
4. HOW TO ENTER: The contest must be entered by completing all three of the following steps: 1) FOLLOW @KALABRANDMUSIC & @THEUKULELESITE on Instagram; 2) POST Your original photo, featuring a Kala ukulele, on Instagram including the hashtag #KALAPHOTOCONTEST2018 in the caption; 3) TAG @KALABRANDMUSIC & @THEUKULELESITE in your post.
5. PRIZES: The entry with the most votes will be awarded 1 Kala Solid Acacia Tenor Ukulele, AND their photo will be featured in an upcoming Ukulele Magazine print ad. No cash or other prize substitution, and the prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses beyond what we listed above is the sole responsibility of winner if accepted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Kala Brand Music Co. and Hawaii Music Supply to use Winner’s name and entry for purposes of advertising without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Winner will be selected by community vote under the supervision of Kala Brand Music Co. and Hawaii Music Supply. Winner will be notified by email within three (3) days following selection of Winner. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 7 days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner selected.
7. TERMS & CONDITIONS: Kala Brand Music Co. and Hawaii Music Supply reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest should anyone or thing effect the fairness or proper conduct of the contest. Kala Brand Music Co. and Hawaii Music Supply reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the voting process.
