I am very satisfied with this exotic mahogany wood UBASS. It is a Blemish item and the blemish was a rough knot on the back and very small. Does not affect the play. The U bass has a handy built in tuner and plugs in to my Laney bass amp. The sound is rich and clear. The rubbery strings are fun and easy to pluck although the E string is very thick. I often use two fingers to press it down. Overall it’s a fun bass and I am enjoying it.

I got this from the Spring Cleanout/BLEM (blemish) Sale. I'll be honest, I've looked over the instrument, and I cannot find the blemish. I really love this bass. I felt a bit uncertain about the strings, but they actually have a great feel/response. I still need to plug it in, but it is fantastic for just jamming, working out ideas, and practicing. It's small, comfortable, and portable. Excellent product by Kala once again!
