The Kala Solid Cedar Parlor Guitar is a smaller-bodied member of our guitar line with a savory sound. This guitar caters to the songwriter, the recording artist, and even the open mic regular. Its tone is very warm and full-bodied and pleasant without being overbearing due to its Cedar top and Mahogany back and sides. We dressed it with a Walnut binding with a herringbone purfling and a satin finish to give it a traditional, aged look. Each Parlor Guitar comes in a gig bag.

    Kala Parlor

Surprising tone and playability. Must be the cedar top but this thing is warm with plenty of bass which is unusual from a Parlor.

    One of a kind!

I bought this guitar 4 years ago and fell in love with it since then. This guitar is truly one of a kind for me. I've tried other brands but this guitar has a unique sonic characteristic just a joy to play with. I am planning to order again for backup but it's currently out ofof stock :( I hope they would make more. Kudos! 🙏❤ pardon the crappy playing

    Whoa! Hey!

OMG. I'm still OMGing from this whole adventure. So, the genius idea, after I finally learned that Nashville tuning isn't scary at all (duh)- I read a review somewhere for "Best bang for the buck" parlor guitars- so I did a BRIEF check on other reviews, then there was no holding me back. I was out of control. So here's the nice guitar, and I tune it up, and whoa...

SUCH tightly- focused midrange. I've only played jumbos and jumbo-ish guitars. And I'm used to the sound of the whole spectrum. But NOW with this NICE little guitar I can REALLY focus in on each note during my fingerpicking. I had NO idea that I was missing this, and stuck. So now, this little "curve ball" I threw myself really ignited something that was stuck. So here I am, JUST having finalized the chords in a song. Its groove is really from the bass-line which REALLY sticks out as "punchy". NEVER woulda guessed that a smaller body could add "punch". 😲 I have NEVER finished a song before! But now I did, and THANKS to you guys. It seems like it needs to be called "Booglyooglin'".

So the funny thing is that I love that tone so much that I'm NEVER gonna put it in Nashville tuning 🤷‍♂️

    Wonderful!

Built nice and tight, nothing misaligned or loose. Beautiful satin finish- and I love the tone! It will compliment my PRS acoustic PERFECTLY 👍
