The durable Archtop Hard Case is the updated and improved version of our old hard cases. The Archtop Lid is more structurally sound, preventing contact to the top of the instrument when impacted. The cushioned handle will help you carry your instrument and case comfortably and the plush interior will hold your instrument firmly in place without scratching or damaging it. The antiqued hardware gives the Archtop Hard Cases a vintage look.

Kala BCT-AT Black Archtop Baritone Ukulele Hard Case for Kala Super Tenor Ukulele

While Kala doesn't make a specific hard case for Super Tenor Ukulels, their Black Archtop Baritone Ukulele Hard Case is an excellent alternative.

I bought two of these cases for my Kala Super Tenor Ukuleles. Initially, I went with the more affordable option of Kala's foam hard cases, which are typically designed for baritone ukuleles. Unfortunately, those cases offered a very loose fit for my Super Tenors, with significant extra space throughout.

The Black Archtop Case Makes a Difference:

Theses hard case are overall more compact and offer a better fit compared to the foam cases. There's a bit of extra space near the headstock, but the lower and upper bouts fit nice and secure. To create a completely secure fit, I use the small cushions that came with the case to make it more snug.

    Highly Recommend for Super Tenors:

Overall, I'm very impressed with the Black Archtop cases and strongly recommend them for Kala Super Tenor Ukuleles. They offer superior protection compared to the foam cases, with a plush interior and a comfortable carrying handle. While the Black Archtop cases cost a bit more upfront they're definitely worth the investment for the added peace of mind and better fit for your instrument.

Bypassing the loose fit of the foam cases and going straight for the Black Archtop case will ensure your Kala Super Tenor Ukulele is well-protected and secure during transport.

    Quality arch top case

High quality. I really didn't need or expect so much padding inside, but it keeps the uke safe!

    Like so much, bought two

I had already purchased one of these cases for one of my tenor ukuleles and when it arrived I immediately sent for another one. I like everything about this case. I already had rigid foam cases that were perfectly fine for my tenor ukuleles but I like the sturdiness and the likely ability to keep the ukuleles in the right humidity environment. Note that there is not really room for a book or any music pages but a cord might fit in the accessory box in the case.

    Top of the line case

I was really pleased with the archtop (tenor) ukulele hard case. It is well made and the interior and exterior quality is excellent. I was so pleased with the quality of the case that I immediately sent for another one. I have the Cordova style cases but these hard cases are the tops. I need one for a baritone uke so I'm going to keep my eye out for a sale price or see if I can use Kala bucks. By the way, I switched off that return/exchange fee so this saved me $2.50 on my order.
