Case seems like it will be very durable.
Snug fit (almost too sung), I am used to putting strap along side of the body but, need to run it over top of the U-bass. Such a small concern but I thought I would mention it.

This case is very nice. It is good looking and well made, could not find any flaws. Only had it several weeks and can't comment on durability but it appears that it would hold up well on gigs with reasonable care. The case has an extra handle on it's end. The case opens and closes easily, the latches and hinges seem sturdy. The Kala acoustic U Bass fits well. There is plenty of storage room and the inside material is soft. Very happy with this purchase. Also love the Kala U- bass that goes inside, a great instrument.
This case has kept the California 5-string Koa U-Bass well protected.
The U-BASS Rectangular Acoustic Hardcase is great. It is comfortably snug for my Bakithi Kumalo signature U-BASS, with no wiggle-room. The lining is soft and the materials sturdy. There is plenty of room for a cable, extra strings, and whatever else you might want to stash. I'm sure you could fit a couple pedals & 9volts, although I carry those separately. The case itself seems burly enough and having a handle on both the long side as well as the short end is a great touch. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend the case.
