I lead Boise Ukulele Group in Idaho and purchased Ritzy Red to give away in our drawing at this years, 2026, Idaho Island Festival. I tune and play all of our drawing instruments so they are ready for their new owners and I have to say that "Lil' Red" has been fun to sit with. Not only is it appealing to the eye but it also has a nice resonating sound. I love Kala Brand Music and the quality and affordability of all their instruments. "Lil' Red" did not disappoint. The red sparkles do make this fun. I had trouble knowing which wood to choose for the fingerboard. Since it was on sale I don't mind leaving it around the house where my four-year-old can reach it. It doesn't sound quite as nice as my Kala All Solid Satin Mahogany Tenor which was a BLEM deal. It seems I made the mistake of buying the nicer ukulele first, now other shave to measure up to it.
