    Great for young kids

My son wanted his own ukulele so we found this one and added it to our collection of ukuleles. We have not been disappointed with any of our kala purchases.

    Quality and cute!

I love this little uke so much! I'd heard that Kala made good entry level ukuleles, but I was still surprised when I received it just how warm and nice it sounds. Also it has a shark on it, which is a huge selling point for me! Maybe that's childish, but I like fun stuff!

The ukulele sounds good, but the problem I have with it is that there’s a big crack behind the neck of the ukulele, it’s stable and it doesn’t look like it’s gonna break but it’s very annoying to look at.

    Good Choice

I purchased one of the Shark models. I was afraid that the small instrument size would be difficult to play, since I do not have small hands.

I planned on using it when traveling on business trips. It would give me something to do while staying at the hotel. It travels easily. Traveling hasn't been as frequent lately.

I have a few ukuleles. Some cost much more than the Shark. Sometimes, I find it my primary choice when sitting at the house. I reach past the other three members of my ukulele family. I find it has a nice tone. The sound makes me happy.

It may be considered a beginner instrument, but give serious consideration.
