The Solid Acacia line bears curling that is similar to its close relative Koa. The Acacia’s resemblance to its cousin is apparent in its beautiful, varied grain pattern. The all solid wood allows the sound to improve as it is broken in.

This Ukulele sounds beautiful. I like the satin finished dark wood, the maple binding adds a nice touch.
I was concerned about having a solid wood uke, but the humidity in the Bay Area is well within a safe (40% to 60%) range without a humidifier. I Idid ask solid wood uke owners who said they have no problem here, but I do have humidifier gauges around the house just to be sure..
I had a pro install a bottom strap button which I would have liked to see installed at the factory.
I also received a cool Kala water bottle as a gift.
Over all I’m very happy.
