This was obtained for use with our ukulele club North Olmsted (OH) Ukulele Society, so that the new folks can try out before buying a Concert size ukulele. This came right out of the box ready to play. I just tweaked the tuning and it has a powerful sound. The strings are staying in tune and it is fun to play. Thank you KALA !
