This review is a long time coming after some starts and stops. Truly sorry about that. There is a small ukulele band here that I really wanted to join for fun. I began with a Kala right hand soprano instrument in mahogany, bought at a local music store. It became evident I wouldn't be able to chord with my left hand because of an old injury, even after some physical therapy. So...I had the little soprano restrung for a leftie and started over, relearning chords for left. While it technically worked, the sound was just not what I wanted, but I don't actually understand why. My husband bought my left hand concert from you as a birthday present, and now enough time and practice have passed that I can say I truly enjoy it. The uke has a pleasant, mellow tone, and it is lovely to look at. I have begun playing with the little band and hope to keep having fun with them for a very long time. And besides being fun, it's good for me! Thank you!

I bought this to learn ukelele along with one of the kids, after trying to learn on her right-handed uke. Switching to left-handed made a huge difference! This is a beautiful, reasonably priced uke. It needed a fair amount of constant tuning the first week (make sure you get a tuner to go along with it), but after a couple weeks of playing, it doesn't need much tuning to get it back in tune. The concert size is very comfortable for this grown up!
