Such a pretty, clear sound. I love the extended neck, and the ukulele itself is gorgeous. I have 3 little kids, so I only play in small pockets like this one because we all know it's impossible for them to go more than a couple minutes without saying, "Mom!" hahaha. Also wanted to show the capo I got :)

Bit more research and have seen that the tenor for an adult is the preferred instrument , however as a long time guitarist I always love new instruments

This is my first ukulele and it is wonderful. I purchased the KA-SLNG March 13, 2020, and have not stopped playing it since. I have to admit to bought it second-hand from a lady that purchased it on a trip to Hawaii and it sat in a closet untouched for 2 years. This ukulele is so wonderful to play - the sound is clean and it projects well. With its long neck, it is great for a beginner like me since there is a bit more space between the frets.
I love playing this little ukulele so much I just purchased the KA-ASCP-T (All Solid Cedar Top with Solid Pau Ferro Tenor + Low G). I can't wait for it to arrive.

The long neck mahogany laminate is (after action adjustment) the best ukulele I have ever played. I own 3 (+ 1 non-laminate spruce top). The laminate version is the most ideal for electrifying with contact mic p.u.’s and endpin jack. The recording sound is exceptional, the playing feel of the neck is perfect for my hands and the overall construction is 100%. My 4 Kala long necks are perfect...though the more expensive model seems to have less ‘mojo’ and different neck-profile? This model-type is basically a concert uke with more ‘snap’ due to the smaller body. A low actioned & loud sounding instrument is but an hour or two away by some light adjustments that you may need some help with...but worth it.

I was so impressed with the Gloss Mahogany 8 String Tenor that I jumped on one of KALA's super sales and got a great deal on this long neck soprano. I absolutely love this gloss model line. And this particular little guy is an amazing GEM! It rings with a fresh crisp sound and plays without any effort. I feel like a pro when I play it:)
