Firstly, this is the second “blemished” instrument that I have bought from Kala and I couldn’t figure out what the blemish was either time. This arched top tenor is both beautiful to look at, but more importantly, beautiful sounding. It projects pretty well unplugged and has lovely tone. It’s neck has excellent action and intonation throughout. If you have the opportunity to buy a Kala from the blemished sale, don’t hesitate, you will be glad you did!!

This ukulele is different! It sounds different. I like the resonance of the chords. I am thinking of replacing the G string with a low G. I am still getting used to the strings which came on the ukulele. I am enjoying the variety it gives me and hope it works out well with blues and jazz. Great price and I haven't found the blemish yet!

My 'ukulele lady wanted to move up from concert to tenor. She loves the look and feel of this 'ukulele. It took us several minutes to find the blemish, a tiny round tool mark on the back of the peg head.
