    Nice.

Very pleased with purchase. The tenor size is just what I needed. I recently attended a ukulele workshop at a music festival. The presenters were a husband a wife duo. I had my soprano uke with me, and it was a lot of fun. I decided I would buy the larger tenor sized. I have found some decent YouTube tutorials that move kinda slow, which is what I need right now. My previous experience with guitar helps with preventing some of the common mistakes. The uke seems to be well crafted. Strings are good, I bought a clip on a tuner as well. I haven’t tried the EQ yet. I already have an amp and looper pedal for vocals that I use for looping drum rhythms. The larger size is easier for me to hold plus proper introduction helps too. I am planning on joining the local STRUM a ukulele group. In person instruction is essential at the beginning!

So far, I would buy it again and recommend to others.

A beauty and fun to play - sounds so nice

I am enjoying my Makala Tenor w pick up. It has such a richer deeper sound than my soprano.

Love the stained wooden color. Appreciate the craftmanship on it. Love to look at it when I am not stealing away time playing it. No regrets, love it. impressed with how well it stays in tune for a new instrument.

    Tenor Makala

Been playing with a concert uke for the past 4 years and decided to try the next size up. The Makala tenor came with a high G so I changed it to a low G just for fun. Sounds great and feels nice to stretch fingers and hand out a bit more. Highly recommend, especially at this great price!

    Great Uke for the Money

To get a uke to sound this good out of the box without having it professionally set up is a wonderful thing! I am so pleased with the playability. A great investment for the beginner or novice, or anyone wanting a tenor uke to play, without having to be too precious with it.
