For an entry level uke, this is really nice. It plays well and after a week or two, stayed pretty much in tune. The tuners are good, not like those of a more expensive instrument but work well. It has a plastic nut and bridge saddle which, on mine, the saddle creeks a little on the low g string (a touch of graphite fixed it). All these parts keep the price down. Sound is good. I'm using it to learn slack key ukulele because it has a low g, and a high G which will cover a lot of slack key songs,

Rich sounds and easy to use. It took time to get it tuned but all done now
