I bought this about a year ago as my first ukulele. Since then, I have bought a few more, a baritone and a concert. This was a great starter ukulele. Great sound, reasonable priced, and beautiful! I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially people looking for a ukulele to start out with.
Perfect for Beginners
This ukulele has been perfect for my beginner skills. I’ve enjoyed every second of learning new chords and playing simple songs. It has a beautiful sound, is easy to tune and to hold, and overall is a wonderful instrument.
Sounds nice, not expensive
Great beginner ukulele. Strings a little tough. Nut width a little too wide
Great beginner ukulele, with a nice sound, a little warmer of a sound than the kala soprano I have. My main issue was the toughness of the strings and the nut width (and string spacing) on the ukulele. The strings were much tougher than the ones that came on my other kala uke, which made adjusting to a tenor harder. The nut width (and thus string spacing) was also much bigger than I was expecting, which made some chords harder, others easier. Overall a great product, just things to be aware of.
