Our Gloss Flame Maple ukuleles are highlighted by either a warm red Cherry Burst that fades from the edges into a golden center or an earthy brown sunburst that fades from the edges to a golden center. The iridescent striped wood grain is trimmed in white binding and a shiny, gloss finish. Not only are these instruments dazzling to the eye, but Maple has a clear, transparent tone, and ample projection with great note separation. Available in concert and tenor models.

A lovely ukulele with bright sound. Fit, finish and setup are perfect. Despite it being sold as a blemish model, I could not find a single blemish. My only complaint is some intonation issues, primarily with the C string. For example, I use a Fender FCT-2 tuner to tune precisely, fret the C string at the fourth fret and it is sharp, causing audible beats when plucked together with the E string. At the 12th fret the C is significantly sharp. Similar problem with the E string but not as pronounced. This is not a deal breaker but it does cause some chords, e.g. Em, to sound off. Without the intonation issues, I’d give it five stars.

I have a vangoa concert which i have been using for more than 6 months. I bought this uke and loved the sound . The strings are easy to strum as well. Just that i want to change my high G to low G. It's a blem and hence the rear part of the uke has some visual blemishes otherwise it's wonderful sounding !!

I’m very surprised by how well this Uke plays. It looks amazing, is light as a feather, and projects like a champ. I love that it doesn’t have a pickup, honestly—why pay for something I’m never really going to use?

I’m very happy with this little guy. It’s clearly attractive, and I really couldn’t detect the blemish at all. It has a nice, loud sound with even sustain. The only reason it’s not a 5-star is only because it is laminate and not solid wood.
