I'm a guitar player and didn't want to spend a fortune on a ukulele because I intend to take it with me camping and I didn't need it to be a "garage queen". I found this model for sale locally, used, in AS NEW condition and it came with a case. The intonation and sound are perfect and the playability is excellent. I played a bunch of other brands at a local music store that were into the high $300 range and none felt as good as this one. Highly recommend it for anyone that is getting started or has intermediate skills. The craftsmanship is outstanding, the grain of the wood just beautiful, and along with the black binding, it is just stunning. I'm thrilled with how much fun it is to play and so looking forward to getting my chops up to speed. If you're on the fence about which one to buy in this price range, take the plunge. You won't regret it.

After playing on a toy ukelele for 12 years, it was time to graduate. This walnut version is beautiful, deep in sound and perfect for my son’s next chapter into adulthood. Thanks to the online tutorials, he has been tasked with learning (and playing) a song for his graduation party. Can’t wait!
