Great Uke.
I took a chance on this one. I already have a solid spruce top and all mahogany baritones but wanted an all-solid baritone with electronics. Maple isn't a common tone wood for a top, and since I live in a rural area, I couldn't try it before the purchase. The gamble paid off. The tone is rich, warm, full and beautiful. I much prefer it to my other two baritones. It isn't quite as loud as the spruce top but is still has plenty of volume for home/solo play. If you need more volume, the electronics work fine. The instrument is very well made and handsome. Frankly, with its sound it could be pig-ugly and still be a great Uke. I usually try different sets of string on any new uke but haven't felt the urge at all with the stock strings sounding so good on this. I'm absolutely delighted with my new maple baritone!
