Great communication and post was very quick.

I really love it. It was my 80th Birthday present to myself, so I was really anxious how it would travel to Australia but it was well packed and arrived fine. I changed the strings straight away as the wound strings were a bit harsh on my ancient hands. I had never paid so much for a uke before (nearly $a1000) so I was a little concerned re a line going from the large end to the bridge, down the middle. It may be just a join or a grain. I dont think its a crack or anything too bad. I'm attaching a pic. The pickup is great BTW, I can drown all those inferior units out now....LOL

    Very professionally built!

So far it’s a great stage uke. I like the sturdiness and bigger neck. It’s my new main ukulele now.

    Sweet instrument

Beautiful and solid sound. Enjoying the deep rich tone as a followup to my cedar tenor Kala

    Just what I wanted

I was looking for a step up from the Kala Bamboo Baritone I purchased in Hawaii this winter. After reading several reviews and with my understanding of tone woods from a lifetime of playing acoustic guitar, I chose this model. I have never purchased an instrument online so this was a real leap of faith! I was very pleased with the service I received when I needed to add a case to the order, with the timely delivery, the carton packing, and ultimately with the instrument itself. The tone is a perfect compliment to the Bamboo Bari and actually sounds more 'guitar' like. Just what I wanted. I am working through a book of classical guitar pieces transcribed for bari ukulele and the tone is full and rich, with strong projection. I have turned a few heads who would not have expected that level of tone from a uke.

The only service it has required was to shave the bridge saddle in order to perfect the 12th fret intonation and improve the action. I play it every day.

    Full, clearsound

My fourth uke, but first mid level model. Definitely a wonderful tonal jump in both the lower and upper strings. A solid value and excellent craftmanship.
