Contour All Solid Gloss Spruce Rosewood Baritone Ukulele w/ Cutaway and Bag

My musical journey includes violin to guitar to the baritone ukulele. I started my retirement ukelele fun with the Kala Mahogany KA-B (relatively easy jump from guitar). After several months I knew I wanted solid wood with better sustain and sound. The solid spruce cutaway is comfortable, crisp with well rounded tone and a sustain that goes on for days. Love the feel of the neck and contour shape comfort. Customer service was awesome when I asked for a strap button to be installed (didn’t want to mess that up…) Look no further for an amazing well priced baritone ukulele! Thanks Kala!

If you're interested in finger-style play, I don't think you can find a finer instrument at, quite literally, twice the price. So easy to go low on the neck with the cutaway and the arm bevel is SO comfortable! You might not think such a small feature would make such a difference, but you just want to HOLD the instrument.

I am an intermediate acoustic guitar player with a love for baritone ukes. I have two others but this beauty is now my favorite. The tone is great, the ebony fingerboard is just the perfect width that it makes transferring from an acoustic guitar to this baritone an easy transition. And now for the esthetics!! It is so beautiful with the spruce top, rosewood grain on back and sides that adds so much to the beauty, and the

purpleheart binding! It is hard to put down. The two toned eclipse around the sound hole also adds to the beauty. The neck is a mahogany D shape that fits in your hand perfectly. Bone nut and saddle! What more can I say? It is my favorite and I highly recommend this for baritone players. No regrets here!! Well done Kala!
