Building on the success of the 2023 release of The Revelator™ Nautilus Ukulele, Kala Brand Music Co. expands on this revelation of creative ukulele design and aesthetic. The Revelator Night Owl Tenor Ukulele by Kala pays homage to U.K. Luthier Pete Howlett with this interpretation of his original design. An “Acoustic Anomaly” — this slim line electro-acoustic ukulele has all of the acoustic tone and volume of a full body ukulele. This instrument is as inspiring to view as it is to play.

The Revelator is created in a way that maximizes the resonance and vibration of the ukulele top. The slim design and minimal top bracing allows the energy and power of the strings to work in concert with the top — producing a clear and articulate tone with surprising volume and impressive sustain — while the Night Owl sound hole is positioned nearest the player’s ears giving instant tonal response. A Solid Acacia top gives a full-bodied, pronounced sound and a rich, varied color. The neck is machined to perfection and flows into the body with a seamless transition that allows the player access to its generous 22 frets; and the beveled comfort body edges are easy on the strumming and picking arm.
