Love my Dawn Patrol ❤️

I have tinkered with playing the guitar for several years with little to no success. To be honest, most of it came from not really dedicating myself to daily practice. After watching a documentary on the ukulele and ukulele culture, I thought I'd give it a shot. After extensive research I decided to avoid the entry level ukuleles they were selling on Amazon and check out Kala per recommendation. I've had my ukulele for a couple weeks now, and it is so much fun that I find myself practicing for an hour or more everyday. I have pretty fat fingers, and the spacing on the concert ukulele is actually easier than on a six string guitar. I've already learned a couple of songs, several chords, and a few strumming patterns. I feel like a musician for the first time in my life, and I'm actually looking forward to giving a recital to friends and family. This little uke is beautiful and well crafted. After a week of playing and tugging on the strings I had to tune it less frequently... just like they said it would. I guess my only complaint would be the shipping. It got here in good enough time and Kala shiped it out within three business days of my order, but FedEx ground lost it for several days. I do live on the outskirts of civilization and have a lot of problems with FedEx to begin with. If you're old enough to remember waiting 6 to 8 weeks for anything that you ordered, and aren't jaded by Amazon's next day delivery, you'll probably think I'm just being persnickety... …
