To be honest, I was expecting to have to take this in for a setup once it was unboxed. I was pleasantly surprised that it played nice right out of the box, after stretching and tuning the strings of course. Smooth edges on the frets, my cleaning rag doesn't catch on them at all. I'm sure after it gets used to my climate a bit more I'll have to do a little bit on it, but that's expected with all stringed instruments. Highly recommended!
