    Great for young kids

My son wanted his own ukulele so we found this one and added it to our collection of ukuleles. We have not been disappointed with any of our kala purchases.

    Quality and cute!

I love this little uke so much! I'd heard that Kala made good entry level ukuleles, but I was still surprised when I received it just how warm and nice it sounds. Also it has a shark on it, which is a huge selling point for me! Maybe that's childish, but I like fun stuff!

Great sound for a little cheapie.

I keep this one out propped up waiting for me to play and I pick it up all day long. The sound is surprisingly good for such an inexpensive instrument and the color is cheerful. That shark bridge really sets it off. I like it better than some of my tenors, but when I pick up a tenor after mastering clear sound on the soprano it makes that tenor seem so much easier. I would buy this again and buy for gifts, too, knowing it will be a hit.

    My fave!

I’ve had this ukulele for about eight years now, and out of the five or so i’ve come to own it’s remained my favorite! very easy to use with a nice clear tone, a little bit beat up (poor sharks missing one of his back fins at this point) but has held up great through all its been through (also amazing price for the quality). never even had to change a string once! i love this little guy

The ukulele sounds good, but the problem I have with it is that there’s a big crack behind the neck of the ukulele, it’s stable and it doesn’t look like it’s gonna break but it’s very annoying to look at.
